About Consolidated Casting Corporation

Consolidated Castings BuildingConsolidated Casting was founded in Dallas in 1966  as a subsidiary of Rochester Gauges, a manufacturer of liquid-level, pressure and temperature gauges.

The company grew and expanded over a twenty (20) year period in downtown Dallas. Having outgrown its original facilities, the company relocated in 1986 to a new 75,000 sq ft facility in Hutchins, approximately ten (10) miles south of Dallas. The facility has recently undergone a 6,000 sq ft  expansion and renovation program complete with laser guided cut-off equipment and lean flow manufacturing conveyor lines.

In September of 1993, Mal Engleby and Don Dingus, formerly of CMI International acquired management responsibility for the company with a buyout plan that was consummated in 1997.

Mr. Engleby and Mr. Dingus greatly expanded the company’s CNC machining and robotic welding capabilities and upgraded the company’s quality systems to become the first investment casting company to achieve QS-9000 certification, and the company has since been certified to ISO-9001:2000. Mr. Dingus officially retired in January of 2000.

In November of 2005, CEO Richard Grant and COO Roger Krueger joined President Mal Engleby as co-owners of Consolidated Casting Corporation, with Mr. Grant acquiring controlling interest. Consolidated Casting Corporation has since upgraded and expanded its systems, facilities and equipment, and has greatly enhanced its value added capabilities to include in-house painting and assembly, commodity management and offshore outsourcing programs. The company has recently opened its new 15,000 sq ft painting, assembly, warehouse & distribution center directly adjacent to the existing casting & machining facility, and is currently shipping components and assemblies to more than 15 countries throughout the world.

From its inception, Consolidated Casting Corporation has grown its business with a very diversified customer base that includes some of the world’s largest, most technologically advanced companies by providing value added services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

CCC's extensive management experience and expertise translates to the best value and exceptional benefits to its customers.
