Consolidated Casting furnishes a complete resource of finishing capabilities to complement our services as a single source for your complete component fabrication.
Our equipment includes:
- (18) 2 axis CNC lathes: Hardinge Cobra 42 Series with GE / Fanuc controls
- 6" Chuck with 12" between centers.
- (2) 2 axis Leadwell lathes with Fanuc controls. 8" Chuck with 16" between centers.
- (2) 40 taper, 3 axis Leadwell Vertical Machining Centers with Indexer capability. Fanuc controls. 20" X 16" Table.
- (2) 40 taper, 3 axis Amera-Seiki Vertical Machining Centers. Fanuc control.
- 20" X 16" Table.
- (2) 30 taper, 3 axis hi-speed machining centers with (3) axis interpolation capability that include pallet indexers and Yaskawa controls. 12" X 16" Table.
- (1) 40 taper, 3 axis machining center with Fanuc control and pallet indexing capability. 20" X 16" Table.
- (1) 40 taper, 40" by 20" machining center with Mitsubishi control.
- (1) 40 Taper Horizontal Mazak Machining Center with .001 Degree Indexing, includes pallet changer and thru spindle coolant. Mazak fusion controller. 400MM table.
- (1) 3 axis Mazak Turning Center with full "Y" axis capability. Mazak 640 T controller. 10" Chuck 24" between centers.
- (1) Mazak Dual Turn Turning Center. Dual Spindle and Dual Turret with full Gantry Robotic load and unload system. Mazak 640 T controller. 8" Chuck.

The Consolidated Advantage
- Programmers use MasterCam® X2 with AutoCad® software to develop CNC tool-paths.
- Computerized tooling inventory systems are accessible by all our associates with individually personalized codes.
- Perishable tools are tracked for cost control by individual job number.
- We routinely maintain tolerances in the range of plus or minus .0005" in mass production environments.
- Pressure decay systems are used in tandem with machining operations to verify pressure integrity of the castings we produce. This is on an as needed basis and this equipment is designed and manufactured for specific applications.
- We utilize a (6) axis Motoman robotic welding system with (4) station process capability to perform required welding procedures. All weld paths and weld settings are programmed and maintained in house.
- Presetting of high usage tools is done for redundant applications minimizing downtime of the spindles.
